Green light plays a significant role in operating rooms. It allows the surgeon to see in greater detail and minimizes glare on monitors. It provides enough illumination without compromising the surgeon’s line of sight. It minimizes glare on monitors even if they are angled directly in front of the fixture.
Green light can also aid in seeing better at night. It is the preferred light color in military applications where good night vision is essential due to being less detectable at night and giving greater detail to any scenario.
Even though green light is mostly used in surgical applications, it can also be used in high abuse and cleanroom ones.
