The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 requires that any public project it funds use materials and goods manufactured in the United States.
At The LC Doane Company, we manufacture all our products domestically within our 150,000-square-foot facility in Ivoryton, Connecticut. When you specify an LC Doane luminaire, you specify an American light fixture that exceeds ARRA requirements.
We cut, form, weld and paint our own sheet metal; we form many of our lenses; and assemble each luminaire to completion, all under one roof. Any part requiring a production process beyond our in-house capabilities is handled by one of our independent US fabricators. All purchased components are sourced through US suppliers or bought directly from US manufacturers.
