Marine Lighting Fixtures
|
|
|
|
From the powerboat pounding the waves surfside to
the tanker taking a pounding from giant waves mid-ocean,
all boats need lighting fixtures that can endure the
shock and jarring vibration of the sea. The L.C. Doane
company has been making lighting fixtures for vessels
of all sizes and uses, from yachts to aircraft carriers,
for over 50 years. And when we say we set the standards
in marine lighting, we mean it literally-as a member
of the Naval Advisory Committee, we developed the
criteria in use today that ensure a high standard
of illumination on United States Naval vessels.
|
The L.C. Doane Company is continuously
conducting research to improve the performance of
our Marine fixtures, which are built of non-corrosive,
water-resistant, environmentally safe materials.
They can withstand engine room vibration, rough
seas, salt water corrosion and extreme temperatures.
Ships with critical weight problems can use our
400 cycle fixtures which can be powered by lighter
weight equipment, while our 200 volt, 50 cycle fixtures
may be preferred for European Vessels.
|
|
In addition, our lights are available
in a variety of styles-including recessed cabin lights,
flush-mounted deck lights and overhead galley lights-that
easily blend into any interior design. So from merchant
marine to military marine, from cruiser to fishing
boat, and from ferry to freighter, L.C. Doane fixtures
light the way off-shore and on the waterways.
